The editor of the ‘Play!’ hot key

In this window you can select the keys that the program will use to perform the specified action. You can assign two keys: primary and secondary. To select a hot key, you should place the text cursor in the corresponding field and press the required key combination on the keyboard. The program also supports the Win key (the key with a flag on it).

Attention! Some keyboard shortcuts with the Win key are reserved for using in the Windows Explorer and cannot be assigned to the plug-in actions. For example, such shortcuts are Win+E, Win+R, Win+D, Win+F, Win+L, Win+B, Win+M.

To make the selected hot key active, you should tick it off.

The OK button saves the performed changes and closes the editor. The Cancel button closes the editor without any changes.

Additional parameters

The ‘Play!’ hot key functions as ‘Play/Pause’

If this option is off, the hot key ‘Start’ will function the same as the ‘Play’ button in Winamp, i.e. when it is pressed the current song will start from the beginning.

Those who have multimedia keyboards, where the ‘Play’ key comes together with the ‘Pause’ key, should turn this option on. In this case pressing the hot key ‘Start’ for the first time will start playing, while pressing it for the second time will be the same as ‘Pause’.
