HotKeysThe program allows controlling the player using hot keys no matter what application is active at the moment. In version 3.0 28 actions are available, two key combinations can be assigned to each of them: primary and secondary. This combinations are displayed in the list of hot keys next to the name of action in brackets The tick to the left of the action name can be in three states:
Double-clicking the item opens the hot key editor. The list of hot keysPrevious songMoving to the previous song in the list. Play!Start playing. Two modes are available: standard and enhanced. In the standard mode the key completely corresponds to the Play button in Winamp, when pressing it for the second time restarts playing the song from the beginning. The enhanced mode can be of use to those having multimedia keyboards, where the Start button comes together with the Pause. In this mode pressing the key for the second time functions as Pause. You can select the mode in the editor of the Play! hot key PauseA temporary break in the playback. Pressing it for the second time resumes the playback. StopStop the playback. Next songMove to the next song in the playlist. Stop with the fadeoutAt first, the sound volume fades out and then the playback is stopped. Stop after the current trackThe current track is played to the end, after that the playback is stopped. 5 seconds backRewind 5 seconds 5 seconds forwardFast-forward 5 seconds From the beginning of the listStarts playing from the beginning of the list 10 songs backwardJump 10 songs back in the list 10 songs forwardJump 10 songs ahead in the list Turn the Winamp volume upOnly the volume of the Wimamp playback is turned up. The same as moving the volume slider in Wimamp. Turn the Wimamp volume downOnly the volume of the Wimamp playback is turned up. The same as moving the volume slider in Wimamp. Turn the master volume upTurns up the master volume of the operating system. You can set the scale according to which the sound volume will be regulated in the hot key editor. Turn the master volume downTurns down the master volume of the operating system. You can set the scale according to which the sound volume will be regulated in the hot key editor. Show TrayListThe key opens the main window of the plug-in with the list of songs. Toggle the pre-listen modeThe key turns on the pre-listen mode. In this mode the program plays the song for the specified number of seconds and then skips a part of it. Pressing the key for the second time turns the mode off. Show the brief information about the current songThe key shows a small OSD tip with the information about the song playing at the moment Show/Hide WinampThe key shows Winamp if it has been minimized of hidden. Pressing it for the second time minimizes Winamp. Jump to songThe key opens the dialog window Jump to song Start/stop visualizationThe key starts visualization plug-in selected in Wimamp. Pressing it for the second time stops visualization. Toggle the suffle modeThe key turns on the Wimamp shuffle mode. Pressing it for the second time turns the mode off. Now playing...The key puts the information about the current song onto the clipboard. If it is possible in the active window, the information from the clipboard is automatically inserted in the place where the text cursor is at the moment. The feature of automatic insertion is not supported by console windows, e.g. FAR, and by the latest versions of Microsoft Word editor, that have their own mechanism of handling the clipboard. Close WinampThe key closes Winamp without asking for the confirmation. Show the full information about the current songThe hot key opens the internal Winamp tag editor, where you can view or edit the information about the current song. Physically remove the current songWith this hot key you can quickly remove the song that you do not like. Before removing, the plug-in asks for the confirmation which can be switched off in the hot key editor. MutePressing the key turns down the master volume at the specified percentage relative to the current level. For example, the current volume level is set at 80%, the specified percentage equals 25%. In that case pressing the key turns down the master volume to 25% × 80%=20%. Pressing the key for the second time turns up the volume back to the preveious level. |
