Now playing

The plug-in saves the information about the song that is playing now to the file you specify. You can use this file in your message templates for your friends to know what you were listening to, when you were writing the message.

Besides, the plug-in processes the ‘Now playing’ hot key that makes it possible to put the information about the playing song onto the Windows clipboard and then insert it into any text editor or a mail client that does not support templates.

Path to the file

Here you can specify a different path to the file that plug-in will be saving the information to.

String format

You can specify the format of the string saved to the file, similarly to the format of OSD.

Save the following string to the file if Winamp is closed

The text you type here will be saved to the file when you close Winamp. Thus, this text will appear in your message, if Winamp is closed and you are not listening to anything.

Recoding table

By default, the file is created in the codepage that is being used in Windows, e.g. 1251. You can select the codepage which is more convenient for you to create the file in.
