On Screen Display (OSD)

Show OSD when a new song starts

If this option is on, the plug-in will show the name and the duration of the song that is starting to play. You may define you own format of the OSD string.

Show OSD when a hot key is pressed

After you press a hot key the plug-in will show its name as a tip.

Show OSD for ... sec

In this parameter you can set the time of displaying tips on the screen. After thó specified number of seconds is over, the tip will disappear from the screen.

Position

Here you can select the position of the OSD by clicking the corresponding corner of the screen.

Font and background colors

You can choose any color for the font or for the background, by clicking the corresponding color. Moving the mouse while holding down the left mouse button, you will easily select the color you need. The sample view of an OSD you can see in the field with Sample written on it.

Choosing font

To select the font for the OSD click Sample.

The ‘Default’ button

Use this button if you get confused in the OSD parameter settings. The program will set the default settings.

The format of the OSD string

You can set the format of displayed OSDs. The plug-in supports two types of formatting tags: full and short — the entire list of them is given in the following table:

Full and short formatting tags are displayed in the same way.

You can select the required formatting tag from the menu by pressing the ... button to the right of the input field. When you select the required tag from the menu, it is inserted into the position where the text cursor is at the moment. In that menu you can also select the ‘Default’ command that will set the standard format for the OSD string.
