TrayList™ is a WimAmp plug-in with many features:

* unique features are marked with asterisk

* The unique statistics collection system and the most popular performers highlighting. The plug-in reads the information from the tags ID3v1, ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4, OGG, WMA and CDA. You will know for sure what artist you like best, what songs are played most often, and what genres you prefer. You can also export this information into a hypertext (HTML) file and send it to your friends or publish it at your site.

* Due to 13 reports and various filters you will know what performer you choose more often than the others, what songs you listen most often, what styles you prefer and much more.

Media organizer. Once launched, the plug-in searches for audiofiles in the folders you selected and displays them in the window in the hierarchical order. Audiofiles located in one folder can be grouped by the artist, by the album name, by the song name or by the genre. It is the easiest way to add songs to the playlist. You can add an album with just a couple of mouse clicks.

Hotkeys. You can control WinAmp using the keyboard no matter what application you are currently working with. You can specify two different shortcuts for each of the 40 actions, and as a matter of fact, it's very useful for multimedia keyboards.

*Hothits™. You can create up to 10 playlists and set their shortcuts of the 0..9 keys with any modifier keys. It makes the selection of the needed playlist easier than ever.

*OnScreenDisplay (OSD). The plug-in displays the names of new songs and actions invoked by the hotkeys on the screeen. The position and view of the tips can be set by the user.

Opacity (only in Windows 2000 and XP). For every Winamp window, as well as for the TrayList and OSD windows you can specify two opacity values - for the active and inactive window states.

Now playing... The plug-in saves the name of the song that is playing now in WimAmp to the file you specify. It allows you to insert this information into your messages, etc.
* The plug-in enables you to set a few formats for different winamp playing modes which will be chosen at random. The information in your messages concerning the music you are listening to will never be boring.
Besides, there is a "now playing" hot key that inserts the song name into the place where the text cursor is at the moment.

Autoplay. When WimAmp is started, the plug-in can start playing from the place where you left the song last time, or from the beginning of the song, or from the beginning of the playlist, or from a random song. If you put WinAmp into the 'Startup' folder and specify the time for the computer to start in the BIOS, you will get an excellent alarm clock!

*Prelisten mode. Using it, you can get acquainted with large amounts of music in no time. In this mode WinAmp plays a song for the specified number of seconds and then skips a part of it.

*Logarithmic master volume scale. When the volume is low, it changes at a low rate (e.g. 2-3% at a time), but when the volume is high, the changing rate is also high (20-25%).

4. Workaround for the Winamp bug. Playlist position in Winamp is not saved if PC has been turned off using the Power button while Winamp playing.

• The statistics storage format has been changed. The converter from version 3.0 to version 2005 is available for registered users.
• Popular performers highlighting and reports can be calculated both according to the number of listenings to one and the same song (TL 3.0) and according to the listening time (TL 2005)
